About The Great British Spring Clean

The Great British Spring Clean (13–29 March 2026) is the UK's largest mass-action environmental campaign. Since 2016, volunteers have helped collect 4.5 million bags of litter nationwide.

How to participate nationally:

  • Pledge: Register your "pledge to pick" on the Keep Britain Tidy website.
  • Get Involved: Whether you are an individual "Litter Hero," a school group, or a dog walker, every bag makes a difference.

Tips for a Successful Pick

  • Safety First: Always use the provided litter pickers and wear gloves.
  • Sorting: Separate recyclable items from general waste where possible.
  • Heavier Loads: We will provide "Womble Stickers" so you can leave heavy bags near town bins if they are too heavy to carry back.

No need to book — just turn up and help us keep Kesgrave tidy!

Organised by Kesgrave Town Council in partnership with Keep Britain Tidy.
