Planning & Development Meeting: 14th August 2017
Reviewing local planning applications and shaping Kesgrave’s development.
About this meeting
The Planning and Development Committee is responsible for reviewing planning applications and proposals within the town and acting as a statutory consultee to the Local Planning Authority. At each meeting, councillors consider new applications, note planning decisions made by East Suffolk Council, and review any letters of objection, support, or observations submitted by residents and consultees.
The committee also discusses wider development issues such as the Neighbourhood Plan, community surveys, and potential impacts on biodiversity and the local environment. These meetings ensure that planning matters are dealt with transparently and that the council's recommendations reflect the interests of the local community.
