About this meeting

This meeting covers the Finance and Governance Committee, which takes place on Monday, 21st May 2018 at 7.15pm in the Council Chamber. Members of the public and the press are encouraged to attend. The agenda includes the election of a Chair and Vice Chairman, the receipt of apologies for absence, and declarations of interests. The committee will also review the minutes from the last meeting held on 26th March 2018 and receive updates from the Clerk on any matters arising.

Additional items on the agenda include the consideration of grant applications, a bank reconciliation review, and a discussion regarding the replacement of the air conditioning system at MJH. The committee will also formally review training for Councillors, discuss the duration of meetings, and consider the National Joint Council (NJC) Agreement for 2018-2020. Furthermore, the committee will address the Town Council's Market, including finance and governance matters, contractor insurance, and marketing strategies. A verbal update on the Youth Club's new model and outsourcing will also be provided. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, 30th July at 7.15pm in the Council Chamber.
