A Weekend of Community Spirit in Kesgrave!
With the recent vibrant Kesgrave Fun Day and the energetic Kesgrave Kruisers 10K run (held in memory of Alan Brown), Kesgrave has been buzzing with fantastic community spirit. Kesgrave Town Council is delighted to highlight another wonderful initiative that perfectly captures this local pride: the "Develop: Finding Your Place" photography trail.
This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy our beautiful locality, explore unique art, and support the incredible talent of our young residents.
About the Develop Photography Trail
The "Develop: Finding Your Place" project, delivered by the brilliant team at Snap Skool, brought together approximately 300 talented students from five local primary schools and our high school. These young artists embarked on guided photo walks, exploring Kesgrave and Martlesham's landscapes, woods, and community spaces.
Their mission was to capture truly incredible and often unseen perspectives of the places we call home. We extend our warmest congratulations to all the brilliant students and teachers involved from Heath Primary School, Gorseland Primary School, Birchwood Primary School, Martlesham Primary Academy, Cedarwood Primary School, and Kesgrave High School! Their dedication has created a truly special community exhibition.
Where to Discover the Photographs
A photograph from every single participating pupil is now hosted across various locations in Kesgrave and Martlesham. This wonderful exhibition runs for two weeks, from 22nd June to 6th July. We encourage everyone to take a walk and discover them!
