Call for Sites: What you need to know

What is a "Call for Sites"?

This will set out how and where development, including new homes, employment land, and infrastructure, should take place up until at least 2044. As part of this evidence-gathering phase, they held a "Call for Sites" to identify what land might be potentially available for development. For more technical background, you can review the official Call for Sites Guidance.

A Note for Kesgrave Residents: This process is driven and controlled by East Suffolk Council (ESC) as the Planning Authority, not Kesgrave Town Council. We are sharing this information to ensure our residents remain informed and prepared for future consultations.

The map of submitted sites was officially published for transparency on 23 March 2026. While the council is not yet inviting comments, you can Join the Mailing List to be notified of future opportunities to have your say.
