The meeting will begin with a welcome, followed by confirmation and acceptance of any apologies for absence. Councillors will then be invited to declare any interests, either at the start or at any relevant point during the meeting. The minutes from the previous meeting held on 24 November 2025 will be considered and agreed.

An officer report will provide updates on matters arising from the last meeting that are not covered elsewhere on the agenda. Members of the public will also be welcomed, should anyone wish to speak or raise questions.

Any letters of objection, support, or general observations received directly from residents, agents, or statutory consultees regarding planning proposals will be noted before discussion of the main planning applications.

The Committee will then review the Schedule of Planning Proposals and provide comments to East Suffolk Council as the Local Planning Authority. Applications to be considered include:

DC/25/4468/FUL, 53 Penzance Road – Rear extension and a dropped kerb at the front of the dwelling.

DC/25/4431/FUL, 73 Century Drive – Proposed single-storey side extension.

DC/25/4485/FUL, 51 Dobbs Lane – Relocation of a 1.8m high boundary wall or fence.

There are no planning decisions to report at this meeting. The Committee will also consider whether any current applications require referral to East Suffolk Council’s Planning Committee rather than being decided under officer delegation.

An update, if available, will be provided on the Kesgrave Neighbourhood Plan Review and wider community survey work.

Other urgent communications may be raised, provided they were submitted before noon on the day of the meeting. Councillors will then consider whether any topics from the meeting should be highlighted in press or social media updates.

The next Planning & Development Committee meeting is scheduled for 22 December 2025 at 6.15pm in the Council Chamber. Finally, members will be asked to suggest any items they would like to include on the agenda for that meeting.
